About Us/Contact

We are a small neighborhood market farm focusing on fresh eggs, seasonal vegetables and stone fruits. We primarily serve our friends, neighborhood and the larger community with direct sales at this time. We are recognized certified growers in Placer County, members of Placer Grown, and the Placer County Farm Bureau. We are California certified egg handlers. Wobbly Wagon Farm is in transition to become a certified organic farm, and has embraced and adhered to sustainable, organic practices for many years. Our poultry and small livestock are pastured to the maximum extent, treated and housed humanely, and the byproducts of the farming contribute to their diets, becoming part of a holistic environmental cycle.

Our vision is to expand to regularly scheduled local farmers markets, web based orderding and fulfillment of eggs and produce for the local customer base, and an educational outreach to friends, families and customers.

At this time our staff is comprised of “Farmer in Charge” Ross, who has life experience in manufacturing, equipment repair and fabrication, and “Teacher Lori” who has been involved in early childhood education, and supports or assists in every aspect of the farming and marketing.Wobbly Wagon Farm occasionally employs seasonal help, or contracts specialty work.

Located on the Eastern edge of Lincoln California, we have to some degree engaged in small scale farming at this location for nearly 25 years. Because of the encroaching development and the small parcel size, we practice intensive gardening and are working towards aspects of urban farming and space utilization. Expansion beyond our property may be a viable consideration at some future point.

We were by your farm today, I was interested in buying eggs. I found your address and egg box in Newcastle, and, since I live in Lincoln, I thought I would like to buy my eggs from you. You appeared to be closed today. Can you please tell me when you are open ?
    Thank you so much.

    • Yes Bill, We are now open most Sunday afternoons and evenings 4:00 to 8:00 or until dark. We may expand to Saturday afternoons and evenings same time frame, so as to escape the worst of the Summer heat. You can always call us direct to make a purchase, we will do our best to accommodate you during the rest of the week. Of course we also sell at the Sun City Farmers Market on Wednesday mornings. The farm number is 916-645-3073, just leave a message and we will call you back.
